Gregory P. Marceaux is a Lake Charles personal injury lawyer who has been in practice since 1992. Greg is a graduate of Loyla Law School in New Orleans. After graduation, Greg went to work for Bergstedt & Mount in Lake Charles, Louisiana. While working at Bergstedt & Mount, Greg worked as a defense lawyer representing insurance companies and large corporations. After five years of practicing defense law, Greg decided to “jump the fence” and work representing plaintiffs. Since then, Greg has represented plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation claims.

While in college, Greg joined the Reserve Officer Training Corps. Upon graduation, Greg received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. Greg served as an officer in the Louisiana National Guard and the United States Army Reserves. Greg is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Association of Justice, Louisiana Association of Justice, and the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association. Greg has also served as the past Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association.

In 2002, Greg founded Marceaux Law Firm. Marceaux Law Firm is a personal injury law firm that represents individuals injured in car accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, industrial accidents and workers’ compensation claims. Greg has successfully tried over 50 cases to judgment or verdict.

Greg is a native of Lake Arthur, Louisiana. He is married to Nina Marceaux and they have four children. He and his family are members of Our Lady Queen of Heaven church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He enjoys hunting and water sports with his family.
